India’s IPA urges regularisation of long-marketed drugs missing from CDSCO records

The Indian Pharmaceutical Alliance (IPA) has reportedly sought the regularisation of "legacy" drugs that have been marketed in India for years but are absent from CDSCO's approval database. IPA cites regulatory gaps arising from historical state approvals and incomplete records, affecting products such as sodium valproate, carbamazepine and lithium carbonate.
