Food safety regulator orders immediate halt to food products carrying misleading “100 Per Cent” claims

The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India has reportedly prohibited a leading consumer goods manufacturer from selling multiple food products carrying unverifiable “100 per cent” claims, citing misleading advertising and labelling violations. The company must immediately halt sales of affected products and submit a corrective action report within fifteen days.
